Indoor Skydiving, the new Tandem Skydive?

The modern industry of indoor skydiving is sweeping the nation. Vertical wind tunnels have enabled us to simulate skydiving without having to jump from a plane. Skydivers understand the idea because of the close relation to the sport. However to most of the population, the concept of flying your body in a wind tunnel is foreign. How does indoor skydiving compare to jumping out of an airplane? Simply stated, indoor skydiving is simulating the freefall portion of a skydive. Participants learn to fly their bodies on a column of air which is synthetically produced inside a confined area. Skydiving with Wingsuits

One of the most frequent questions we get at the drop zone is about Wingsuit Skydiving. With online videos showing  very experienced skydivers flying close to objects such as mountains and cliffs, Wingsuit Skydiving has taken off in popularity. Wingsuits are also frequently called Squirrel suits also. Different Types of Wingsuits There are two types of Wingsuit flying. Proximity flying is where a person flies very close to the earth. This type of skydiving is very very dangerous and is only for the most experienced skydivers. Even the most skilled skydivers do not often become involved in this activity. There is very little room for error and has a very high rate of fatality. Even the best in the sport have been injured and killed doing Proximity Flying. The videos look great online but that is where they should stay in my opinion. I have nothing but respect for people who are qualified and can successfully accomplish these feats but…

Top 5 Things to do for Fun in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach is one of Virginia's Biggest Tourist Destinations It kind of goes without saying that the biggest attraction is of course the beach. Its kind of hard to beat a day of playing in the waves and laying on the beach soaking up the sun.  When you are ready to do a little exploring you will realize that VA Beach has much more then just the water and surf. Here are a few places you should definitely try to experience the next time you are in  the area. 1 Military Aviation Museum: Of course this would be No Limits Skydiving first choice. Since we love aviation this is always one of our first stops. Kind of hard to love skydiving without aviation. The museum holds the worlds largest collection of WWI and WWII aircraft. My favorite is the vintage P-51D Mustang Fighter plane. They even offer plane rides in a 1941 Boeing Stearman. Please stop by and visit this part…
