No Limits Skydiving on TV and Podcast

This week, a podcast that deals with Veteran Owned Business's came and filmed a show at our skydiving facility. This podcast is going to be shown on Amazon Prime Video later this year. The show is about former military members who own interesting types of business's. The host of the show is also a 18 year member of the US Army and decided to make his first Tandem Skydive at No Limits Skydiving. We talked about our time in the service and how I decided to make skydiving my full time business. After we talked for awhile, we trained him up and went for his first jump. He did an excellent job and we had a great free fall. We jump right beside the York River with views of the Chesapeake Bay, so we have hands-down the best location for skydiving in Virginia. Skydiving in Virginia for your Birthday.

We hear of many reasons why people decide to jump from a perfectly good airplane at No Limits Skydiving. We love taking people skydiving no matter the reason, but we definitely hear customers talk about their Birthday often. Skydiving is an awesome way to celebrate a Birthday. In fact, we just had a father bring his daughter out skydiving for her 18th Birthday! People join us looking for adventure, a new experience, even wedding proposals. Most people have skydiving as one of their Bucket List Items. There is no better place to skydive than No Limits Skydiving. We are the closest skydiving place to Richmond and VA Beach. What to wear when skydiving in Virginia

One of the questions we hear all the time is "What should I wear when coming to skydive?" This of course all depends on the time of year you come to jump. Usually by March, Spring has arrived and we are skydiving every day. I always tell customers to just wear what the day calls for. You can wear jeans and a T-shirt, or a sweatshirt if its a little colder. The one item we want you to bring is some tennis shoes. Nothing with heels or boot laces. Just simple sneakers or tennis shoes. We will give you a jumpsuit to put over your clothes. This jumpsuit does a couple of things. It makes your body more aerodynamic for free fall and you fall more smoothly thru the sky. Jumpsuits also help keep everything in place. What we mean by that is we will be free falling about 120 MPH, and if you are not wearing a proper shirt…

Skydiving Sunsets in Virginia

My favorite time of the year to jump is the Fall Season. The months of September, October, and November the sky is so clear without any Summer Haze and thunderstorms to worry about. You are able to see miles in every direction. Because of the nice weather, Fall is generally a busier time of year for us. I have jumped all over the world, and I can tell you that skydiving in Virginia over the York River is one of the most beautiful places to skydive. Even better then a regular skydive is our Sunset Skydive. They do cost a little more, but they are worth it if you are only making one jump in your life. To be in free-fall as the sun is setting over the river is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
