Skydiving in VA in 2018

We are super excited for the upcoming skydiving season! We are closed for the winter and will open back up the second Saturday in February. Starting Feb 10, 2018, we are then open 7 days a week. We then close again for winter on Dec 8th, 2018. In getting ready for our opening date all the equipment has been sent of for a complete inspection. This includes each parachute system and all of our planes. EVERYTHING goes through an meticulous inspection process and repairs are done where needed. We send our skydiving containers to Strong Enterprises where they go thru a 12-point inspection and any repairs are made to have them in perfect working order for Virginia's 2018 skydiving season. All of our airplanes are also sent off for an FAA mandatory annual inspection. This is required by the Federal Government of all aircraft that are used for commercial operations. Skydiving Parachutes

We often get questions about the cost and material of the parachutes we use. I thought I would share some basic info about the gear we use for skydiving. Parachute systems vary as much as cars do. There are all different sizes and configurations. They are so varied that it would take a 20 page essay to go into all the details about each type. In this blog I will give our readers a little more info about the parachutes we use to Tandem Skydive in Virginia. With Tandem Skydiving there are two people suspended under the parachute system, the instructor and the customer. Of course with two people there is added weight so the square footage of our canopy is much larger than it would be for a single skydiver. Memorial Day Skydiving in Virginia

Yes, we are open everyday including holidays. We get phone calls all the time asking if we are open on holidays. We are open every day weather permitting. With the weather getting warmer we are getting busier with people looking to make their first skydive. We have had large groups join us from some University's in Virginia. Including Radford and William & Mary which come out every year with students from their outdoor program. This Memorial Day we will be serving food and drinks all day for people making their skydive with us. Hot Dogs and Hamburgers will be grilled by our manifest office on our super duper grill that was purchased this year. Drinks and sodas will also be provided. This will be taking place at our West Point Location. So as soon as you land go grab some food, and then watch the next people make their Tandem Skydive. Skydiving Instructors in Virginia

No Limits Skydiving would like to welcome our NEW tandem Instructor Jeff Wiley. He has been working for our company for 4 years and has been skydiving since he stated working for us. He has passed all his courses and is now a United States Parachute Association Certified Tandem Instructor. We would like to welcome him into the unique club that is professional skydiving. Our head instructor is Mark Wilson with over 12,000 jumps. He is also the head of our demo team which will be performing at the NASCAR Race at Dover DE in June. Mark will be flying the American Flag at the start of the race. We only hires FULL times skydivers. Most skydiving drop zones in Virginia will use part time instructors. People with week day professions that only come to skydive on weekends to earn extra money. Our company does not use part time staff. This is our profession, our passion, and the only type…

Skydiving Demo in Richmond VA

Spring Time has arrived and with spring the start of Baseball Season is upon us. Richmond VA has a Double A Baseball Team called the Flying Squirrels. Nothing is more American than baseball, and the Richmond Flying Squirrels is a big hit in Virginia's capitol city. No Limits Skydiving has been hired by this team to help kick off opening night. After the final out of the 9th inning No Limits Skydiving will be skydiving into the field with the American Flag right before the fire works show. Richmond Flying Squirrels always start their season with a end of the game fire works show for their fans. This year No Limits Skydiving staff members will add a little more excitement to the show with a skydiving demo.
