Skydiving in Virginia’s Fall Season

Ok, now is my favorite time of year to jump from planes!! The Fall Season is an absolutely amazing time to make your Tandem Skydive. The sky is perfectly clear with no Summer Haze, and the leaves are starting to change colors. The view of the horizon is clear and the air is crisp. With the leaves changing colors, many customers actually want to open the parachute at higher altitudes so they have more time to see the scenery. We, of course, leave that up to you... but I highly recommend it. You won't get a better chance to view Virginia's Fall Colors. This is also one of our busiest times of the year, with weekends being the busiest. Make sure you reserve your skydive a few days in advance so you get the exact time you desire. Weekdays of course have more openings available. I have been skydiving for over 20 years and have made jumps all over the…

Skydiving Weather

One of the most frequent questions we are asked is about the weather for the day of their skydive. Yes, weather can effect if we will be skydiving that day or not. We try to not make a decision to cancel skydives until the night before, due to weather forecast being so inaccurate more then 24 hours out. Weather that we will cancel skydiving activities is for what I call "Winnie the Pooh" days. Days where it is just a soaking rainy day and you really don't even leave the house. Unless of course its to go see a movie but really nothing outdoors. We will also cancel if they are calling for really windy days where the winds are blowing up to 20 mph. On windy days we will usually give the customers the option to change their jump time to later in the day. Wind speed will usually slow down toward the end of the day. If you…

Skydiving in Richmond VA

No Limits Skydiving does many skydiving demo shows and one of our favorite is to jump into the Flying Squirrels Baseball Games. The Squirrels are Richmond Virginia's Double A Baseball Team. On July 4th, staff members of No Limits Skydiving brought in the game ball along with the American Flag to start the game. The owner of No Limits Skydiving lives in Richmond, VA so its always a special treat to make a jump over the city. Nothing beats being in free fall and being able to see your house. We have also performed a skydiving show for the Redskins Training Camp opening day. Their training camp is located right in the center of the city near the Children's Museum. When we skydived into the event, we were able to meet Redskins Hall of Fame member Joe Theisman. Richmond, Va is only 45 minutes from our West Point location so we of course are a natural fit for anyone in…

Memorial Day Skydiving in Virginia

Yes, we are open everyday including holidays. We get phone calls all the time asking if we are open on holidays. We are open every day weather permitting. With the weather getting warmer we are getting busier with people looking to make their first skydive. We have had large groups join us from some University's in Virginia. Including Radford and William & Mary which come out every year with students from their outdoor program. This Memorial Day we will be serving food and drinks all day for people making their skydive with us. Hot Dogs and Hamburgers will be grilled by our manifest office on our super duper grill that was purchased this year. Drinks and sodas will also be provided. This will be taking place at our West Point Location. So as soon as you land go grab some food, and then watch the next people make their Tandem Skydive. One of the fun things about skydiving on weekends…
