Richmond International Raceway Tandem Skydiving

No limits Skydiving instructors brought Richmond International Raceway Track President, Doug Fritz on a Tandem Skydive for a press conference at the track. Our staff are recognized as the best in the area and are used often for special events. In a promotion to introduce the Air Guard 400, Richmond International Raceway Track President Doug Fritz accept the challenge to go skydiving for the first time. This was no ordinary jump, Fritz made a tandem skydiving into the infield of the racetrack with the help of instructor and professional skydiver Matt Wilson. Matt is also the owner of No Limits Skydiving and makes his living helping people experience the thrill of skydiving. This was the first time a track present has ever jumped into his own track. “I tell you what, I think it’s the craziest thing I’ve ever done in my entire life, but hopefully we’ll sell some tickets,” Fritz said.

Nutsy the Flying Squirrel

The staff of No Limits Skydiving helped kick off the baseball season by flying the mascot for the Flying Squirrels baseball team into the park before the game on opening night. “Nutsy” was flown in as a tandem skydive to a safe landing in center field to a cheering crowd. The No Limits Skydiving staff, as the Aerial Adventure Demos skydiving team, has safely completed hundreds of professional skydiving demonstrations at large events such as NASCAR or as small as county fairs. If you would like to learn more skydiving demonstrations visit the Aerial Adventure Demos site. If large sporting events trust the safety of their mascot with our staff, you should to. Give us a call and learn how you can make a tandem or AFF skydive with the same personnel who are trusted at America’s largest events.

For this skydive one jumper brought in the American flag which give the other two skydivers the opportunity to fly over the track and put on a great show for the 50,000 race fans in the stands. After landing, the team walked past the cars where the drivers were getting into their cars. After posing for photos and shaking hands with well-wishers, the jumpers turned into big NASCAR fans and watched the race. The next time you are at the race and see some people getting to…
