We get asked this question often, and the answer is pretty simple. You must be at least 18 years old to make a skydive in Virginia, or anywhere else in the United States for that matter. You used to be able to make a Tandem Skydive at 16 with parental consent, but his was changed a few years ago. You can skydive on your 18th birthday. What a awesome way to bring in your birthday then jumping from a perfectly good airplane!
The good news is there is no maximum age you can jump. We take many people in their 60’s and 70’s on their first skydive. Aside from age, there are certain height and weight requirements put in place for safety reasons. Details can be found in our skydiving FAQ.
