William and Mary Skydiving

No Limits Skydiving works with many university's in Virginia to take their students skydiving. This past weekend, we had a great group from William and Mary University - located in Williamsburg, VA. They sent us 23 students who joined us for their Tandem Skydive. We love taking people on their skydive and showing them a new view of the world from the sky. What to wear when skydiving in Virginia

One of the questions we hear all the time is "What should I wear when coming to skydive?" This of course all depends on the time of year you come to jump. Usually by March, Spring has arrived and we are skydiving every day. I always tell customers to just wear what the day calls for. You can wear jeans and a T-shirt, or a sweatshirt if its a little colder. The one item we want you to bring is some tennis shoes. Nothing with heels or boot laces. Just simple sneakers or tennis shoes. We will give you a jumpsuit to put over your clothes. This jumpsuit does a couple of things. It makes your body more aerodynamic for free fall and you fall more smoothly thru the sky. Jumpsuits also help keep everything in place. U.S.P.A. Pro Rating Course

Have you ever wanted to earn your Pro Rating? Be invited on demonstration skydives either into local High School Football Games or even major sporting events. Well now is your chance to learn from two highly experienced Demo Skydivers. We will be holding a Pro Rating Course at No Limits Skydiving on March 28 thru March 30 of this year. We will teach all details of Demo jumps - everything from spotting, FAA Paperwork, jumping with smoke and flags, and of course choosing the correct canopy for the conditions and venue. This course will also include the 10 accuracy jumps needed to earn your U.S.P.A. PRO Rating but will not include the High Performance Endorsement (HPE). Skydiving Season in Virginia

We are looking forward to the start of the skydiving Season in Virginia. We will open on February 15th and then we will be open each day for the rest of the year. We are spending this time getting things ready by inspecting all of our gear and performing maintenance on all of our planes. The winter is a perfect time to inspect and revamp all of our gear. We are also adding new camera systems for our skydiving jumps so your video and pictures will be the best quality possible.
