Skydiving For a Living

What it's Like to Tandem Skydive as a Career One of the hardest things in life is deciding what you want to be when you grow up. I never in a million years would have thought it possible I could get paid to jump from airplanes.  If someone had told me when I was 16 that I'm going to be a professional skydiver, I would have thought they were crazy. The first time I stepped out of an airplane I knew that I had found my passion. To be able to turn that passion into a career has been beyond amazing. I cant tell you how many times I have heard from customers how lucky I am to be a professional skydiver. I always love to hear that because it makes me know how much they loved their skydive with us. How Safe is Tandem Skydiving?

Tandem Skydiving Safety Precautions This is a question we often get asked, so thought it would make a great subject to talk about. Skydiving in Virginia No Limits Skydiving has two locations in Virginia.  Our location in West Point is the closest Skydiving School to Norfolk VA. We are a easy drive right down 64 to the drop zone. Norfolk VA is the home to the worlds largest NAVY Base so there is big military presence in the area. We get many service members who come to No Limits Skydiving for their first skydive. He served on the Aircraft Carrier USS America CV-66, which was located on Pier 12 when in port.  Most of our staff are ex-military and we make sure service members have a great time skydiving. We offer discounts for U.S. Military, for their skydive, and their video or pictures. People who enlist in the military are usually adventure seekers so skydiving is a natural fit for them.  We also realize…

Live Like You’re Dying

Every now and then something comes along to remind us to appreciate life and how quickly it can be gone. In 2006, Tim McGraw came out with the song “Live Like You’re Dying.” The song captured a feeling that many people share about life being too short. In the song, it talks about going skydiving. Skydiving has always been the face of living life fully because today could be your last. Skydiving is one of those rocking chair moments. When you’re retired and sitting in your rocking chair remembering all the really exciting things you’ve done in your life, skydiving will be on the list! Even if you only make one skydive in your life, you will remember that day as if it was yesterday. As anyone who’s been skydiving will tell you, you have to do it to understand the feeling of jumping from an airplane, free falling, and flying a parachute to the ground. A survivor with inoperable cancer…
