Legal age for Skydiving in Virginia?

We get asked this question often, and the answer is pretty simple. You must be at least 18 years old to make a skydive in Virginia, or anywhere else in the United States for that matter. You used to be able to make a Tandem Skydive at 16 with parental consent, but his was changed a few years ago. You can skydive on your 18th birthday. What a awesome way to bring in your birthday then jumping from a perfectly good airplane! The good news is there is no maximum age you can jump. We take many people in their 60's and 70's on their first skydive. Aside from age, there are certain height and weight requirements put in place for safety reasons. Licensed Skydivers Coming For Fun Jumps

Licensed Skydivers are skydivers that have their license from the USPA. We are starting to host some regular licensed skydivers at our West Point location a couple days a week. May 17th is our first day of this event. We are going to start having this become a weekly thing all summer. We will have both planes running for formation loads and speed star jumps. Formation loads is where there are skydivers in both planes. They will exit the aircraft at the same time so the skydivers can meet up in mid air. They are a lot of fun and take exact precision to make happen. If you are a United States Parachute Association Skydiver, call us to join the fun. If you are looking to make your first Tandem Skydive. please join us also. We are taking first-time skydivers everyday.

Skydiving Seasons in Virginia

We are still skydiving for the 2018 season. This is the best time of year to make your skydive. Weather is clear and the air is crisp. Fall Season is the best time to skydive in VA. Both of our locations are open everyday till Dec 9th. We will then close and re-open in mid Feb of 2019. Once we open again for the 2019 skydiving season we are open 7 days a week from 9:00 AM till sunset. Call us to make your reservation. We close for 2 months in the winter due to the holiday's. It is also a great time to have all of our gear and aircraft go thru an complete inspection. All of our planes are stripped down in the winter to have many parts replaced. New Parachute Systems arriving at No Limits Skydiving

One way we keep our amazing tandem skydiving safety record is by making sure all of our equipment is the best possible. Today, the company has purchased the newest container system from Strong Enterprises. They have come out with the their newest design for Tandem Skydiving Rigs. This system is called the TNT Container. We have just purchased two brand new containers from them today with expected delivery in 2 weeks. They have all the latest safety features including the Skyhook deployment for the reserve. The skyhook allows for faster deployment of the reserve parachute.
