No Limits Skydiving has 2 locations, one in West Point and the other in Victoria, VA. Our location in West Point is close to VA Beach, Hampton Roads, Richmond, and Northern VA. Our Victoria location is close to Roanoke, Charlottesville, and Lynchburg, VA. The Victoria location is also a very close drive from many places in North Carolina, including the entire Raleigh and Durham area.
Our DZ is right up 85. It's 15 miles across the border from North Carolina. The Raleigh, NC area is a great place for skydiving, with the weather being great most of the year. We skydive all year with the season getting started in the month of March. We are open 7 days a week. No matter if you work on weekends we are open all week long.

When your in free fall at our Victoria location you can see Lake Gaston the entire time, it is a very cool sight. Lake Gaston is right on the border of the two states and you get a great view of it while falling at 120 mph. No Limits Skydiving has 2 locations close to Richmond VA. Our School in Victoria is a hour 15 minutes to the west, and our West Point location is 35 minutes to the east. Both areas are great for skydiving, with Victoria you can see the mountains and Lake Gaston. At West Point you skydive right over 3 rivers. The Mattaponi, Pumunky, and the Yorktown River, makes for a great view!!
A lot of our staff lives in Richmond VA, and we do a lot of advertising in the city. We will have 2 billboards on Interstate 95 starting in April, and we also have adds in many local restaurants. If you meet someone in Richmond who has been skydiving before, chances are they jumped with us.
With Richmond being in the South the weather for skydiving is great for most of the year. We really start to get busy in March and picks up all spring with summer being our busiest time of year.
With a lot of our staff from the Richmond area we are very proud to perform the skydive for the NASCAR Race held at the Richmond International Speedway. Its a great honor for the track to ask our instructors to perform for the opening race ceremonies. There is nothing quite like the feel of being in freefall, and looking off to the side and seeing Richmond. Many of our customers have contacted us after the jump to let us know they saw the skydive. They said as they were sitting in the stands they would tell their friend that we were the person they made their first Tandem Skydive with. Becoming an Skydiving Instructor is a difficult process.
Due to the difficulty, few people ever become a skydiving instructor. Even fewer go to the next level and become one the select few skydivers qualified to skydive into major sporting events. The United States Parachute Association makes the rules on how to qualify to skydive into stadiums. All our instructors have their Pro Rating and we skydive into many sporting events around Richmond.

The holiday season is here, and you are probably already wondering what to get that special someone. To purchase a gift certificate all you have to do is call 434-532-6570. You can order the jump and let them decide if they want a video for $60 when they arrive. You can also purchase the video as part of the certificate, that way, they have the whole package prepaid. The certificate is mailed to any address you want, and it is mailed in a plain envelope so no one can know the contents inside. That way, if the person you are buying the skydive for lives in the house, they wont see their present before Santa Claus's big day.
When they are ready to scheldule their jump, they simply call 434-532-6570.The gift certificates are valid for one year. They let us know the location they want to jump from, either our Victoria or West Point, the date and the time they want to arrive. They should plan on 2 hours on weekdays and between 2-4 hours on weekends. When their big day is here make sure the whole family comes ands watch. You can be right there where they land, taking pictures of the smile on their face.
Once they arrive we will have them fill out paperwork, then a small training session. In the training we go over what is going to happen on their skydive, but the most important thing is to keep your eye's open and have fun. Our certified instructors will handle the rest. The plane ride will last around 20 min, then once you are firmly attached to your Tandem Instructor, the door opens, and whooooo, now things start to get real. The wind rushes in and everything gets noisy as your instructor guides both of you out the door. Once in freefall remember to SMILE for the video.
Your parachute will be opened at 5,000 feet. After freefall, being under parachute will be so peaceful. Take time to look around and enjoy the view. At our West Point location you will be right over the rivers, at our Victoria location you can see the mountains of Virginia, and lake Gaston in North Carolina.

The running of the Strawberry Hill Races has been taking place for 80 years in Virginia. It is a annual event that signals Spring time is here in Virginia and draws a large crowd of around 60,000 people. The tailgating and horse races make for a great mix and it has always been a favorite way to start the season.
The Strawberry Hill Races takes place at Colonial Downs Race Track in New Kent, VA. The date of this years event is June 2nd with a post time for the first race at 12:00 noon. The staff members have been a part of the opening ceremonies of the races for years. We have been bringing in the American Flag at the start of the National Anthem and landing at the start/finish line to help kick off the races.
This year No Limits Skydiving will be a part of new tradition at the races. Colonial Downs will be holding a contest where one lucky winner will get the opportunity to skydive into the races with us on a Tandem Skydive. The contest is being held on the Facebook Page of Colonial Downs. Enter the chance to make a Tandem Skydive with No Limits Skydiving into the start of the races with the Starting Flag. I grew up in Virginia but have lived and traveled all over the country. When I was looking where to open my business I chose Virginia for a lot of reasons. I hope I have created a great place for students and family, to enjoy what I think is, the greatest adventure you can have. You can bring your whole family and friends to watch your skydive. We have big screen TV that you can watch the video of your skydive after the jump. Our place has a student lounge that has air conditioner and heat, depending on the season. I have designed the whole school to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Couches, pool tables, and even a camp ground for students to camp out the night before if they would like. The campground has a bonfire pit and is free for students.
When you land, your friends can be right there. Once they see you jump they are going to want to go. Ha ha. I have been skydiving for a long time and have over 7,000 skydives. The weather is perfect now. I jumped this week for the first time without gloves, spring time is here!!! "No Limits Skydiving" is open 7 days a week with 2 locations in Virginia. Both locations are members of the United States Parachute Association (USPA), with the West Point school close to Virginia Beach, Washington DC and Richmond, VA.
The location in Victoria, is close to Richmond, Charlottesville, and Roanoke, VA. The Victoria school also has free camping for people skydiving and a bonfire pit to complete the scene.
There is no better way to welcome Spring Time then coming to skydive with a U.S.P.A certified instructor. The freefall is between 45 and 60 seconds with a 5 min parachute ride. I'm not sure what part I like the best, the freefall is exciting with the parachute ride down very very peaceful. The Fall time when the leaves change colors a lot of skydivers pull high to have more time to look around under canopy. You can see Lake Gaston to the south and the Mountains to the west.
The West Point School is located right next to the river so most of the time we are in freefall right over the Yorktown River. Makes for a great view for sunset skydives.

The safest way to go skydiving is with a tandem skydiving. During a tandem skydiving, the first-time jumper is pared with an highly experienced and USPA certified skydiving instructor. After a short training class in which the student learns the basics of skydiving, the student is dressed in a full jumpsuit and specially designed tandem parachute harness. After boarding the airplane and a short plane ride, the student is attached to the instructor. The student and instructor jump from the plane and enjoy nearly a minute of free fall before deploying the parachute and floating safely to the ground.

On Christmas eve of this year we took a couple from Dinwiddie VA on their first skydive. They were skydiving to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary! The couple made a Tandem skydive at our Victoria location. Even though it was December, the weather was perfect. The temperature was warmer than we expected and perfect for an early winter skydive. The plane took off at 10:30 and quickly flew to jump altitude. After a goodbye kiss they each jumped from the plane and enjoyed about a minute of free fall time before deploying their parachute.
The sky was completely clear and the view was amazing. They enjoyed watching with other gently float to the ground. After a soft landing, they ran to each other to give a big hug that can only come after the thrill of your first a skydive.

"No Limits Skydiving" will be opening a second location at West Point VA starting the first of next year. We will have two locations that we will be skydiving at. The school at Victoria VA that is close to the cities of Richmond, Raleigh, and Roanoke and the new dropzone at West Point will be close to the cities of Richmond, Williamsburg, and Newport News.
When looking to make your skydive choose either one of our two locations. Both will have something special for the customers. The one in Victoria will have an amazing view during the fall while our school in West Point will have a great view of 3 rivers. Victoria will have on site camping while both school will be open 7 days a week.

Summer is here and along with that is the heat. One sure fire way off cooling off is to be 12,000 feet above the earth getting ready to jump from an airplane!!
The temp is about 2 degrees cooler every thousand feet up, so on a warm summer day it really feels good to be in freefall and under parachute.
